Lowe's: same store sales low as profits grow

A slow US housing market, combined with a slower hurricane season, has made it increasingly difficult for Lowe's to grow sales. Yet cost cutting initiatives are helping see it through as the retailer rightly anticipated a tougher year comparatively.
