M&S has opened its new Cheshire Oaks store, which is its greenest outlet and also the second largest worldwide after that in Marble Arch, London. The store has been built in line with the company's Plan A initiative, and is its most carbon efficient and sustainable store to date. However, while this is a welcome development, M&S still has much to do to rejuvenate general merchandise sales.
