According to Product Launch Analytics, the leading fragrances of new deodorants launched globally between August 2008 and July 2009 were blend, fresh and rose. The last of these has climbed up two places from joint fifth to third, replacing musk, which has dropped out of the top 10 entirely. Other fragrances to have declined in popularity compared to the same period of the previous year are aloe and bergamot, while grapefruit and lemongrass are new to the top 10.
