Keane, a US-based IT services company, has appointed Michael Thomas as executive vice president and chief sales officer. Mr Thomas will report to John McCain, president and CEO of the company.
With more than 20 years experience, Mr Thomas is a seasoned business and sales leader in the technology industry.
Previously, Mr Thomas was executive vice president of global sales and marketing at Symphony Services, where he transformed the sales organization to compete on the broad range of transaction sets required to sustain growth and help clients achieve their business objectives.
Prior to Symphony, Mr Thomas was a vice president at Capgemini. In this role, Mr Thomas was responsible for sales in the company's America's outsourcing business and general management of its North America BPO organization, specifically focusing on large mega deal activities for companies looking to achieve meaningful transformational change.
Mr Thomas has also held various other leadership and global sales roles for professional services firms, with responsibilities that include managing alliances, acquisitions, strategic planning, product incubation, risk management, customer satisfaction and client relationship development.
Mr McCain said: "Mike brings a wealth of experience in IT services, business process outsourcing, general management and global sales to Keane. His proven track record of success in growing companies will be invaluable for Keane to leverage as Mike joins our organization to oversee global sales."
