Aside from blend, lemon was the leading fragrance of laundry detergents launched in the 12 months to January 2009, Product Launch Analytics records. Floral was the third most popular fragrance, up one place compared to the same timeframe the year before, replacing the lavender fragrance, which dropped to fourth place. Citrus, which was in seventh place in the period February 2007 to January 2008, is no longer in the top 10. Meanwhile, lime, clean and coconut, in joint eighth place, are all new to the leaderboard.
