The use of LPG in French cars looks about to accelerate. In 1999 only 293,000 tons of LPG was pumped into the French automotive sector. This is expected to more than triple over the next decade, with more than a million tons forecast to be used in 2009. This would then represent a quarter of all French LPG consumption.
