SBA Communications, a provider of wireless communications, has appointed Kevin Beebe to its board of directors, effective October 28, 2009.
Mr Beebe currently serves as the president and CEO of 2BPartners, a partnership that provides strategic, financial and operational advice to private equity clients, investors and management.
Prior to founding 2BPartners, Mr Beebe served for 25 years in the telecommunications industry, most recently as the group president, operations, at Alltel and, prior to Alltel, as executive vice president of operations for 360 Communications.
Prior to Mr Beebe's service at 360 Communications, he held a variety of executive and senior management positions at several divisions of Sprint. Mr Beebe also serves on the board of directors of Skyworks Solution.
